Twitter Tools – Pretty Cool

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Okay I’m just getting started using twitter but I knew I wanted to connect Twitter with my blog so I sent out looking for plugins for my word press blog. I have to say Twitter Tools is the best one, lots of options and where I’m not using widgets still very easy to implement and customize.

The great option is when I’m logged in on my blog it gives me the option to post a tweet right from my blog website, and when I write a new blog post I have the option to post a tweet referring to it. This is very beneficial as i don’t have to navigate back and forth from multiple websites to get my updates completed and out.

The other tool I’ve got is TweetDeck a great Adobe Air application to handle twitter on my desktop, so thanks to @Anderson769  for that recommendation.

I will mainly be using the twitter for my gamer updates and other quick updates and using my full blog for when I have a bit more than the character limitation allows =).
