Now TalkNB has been on hiatus as I had a new baby join the family and it’s a bit difficult to find the time to try and do everything and have fun at the same time =).

So we have shot another Video and are launching Season 2, I also took some time to do a gamer update on WOW. For Now I’m going to try to maintain both websites but I will be posting the video’s here on my blog as well along with the description but feel  free to check out TalkNB.com as well.

TalkNB Season 2

Are we back well yes the writer strike you heard about is over but will we maintain Talknb.com well for now we will, but we might just merge it into my blog over at http://blog.elitegd.com

So like tv we are going to have some downtime and have to fill your screen with re-runs but we won’t repost them and hopefully we’ll be able to produce some likable vidoe’s and here is the first one for you enjoyment.

Gamer Update – WoW – Mid Summer Festival

TalkNB Season 2, Gamer Update, first game we’ll be looking at is WoW I know I’m a few years behind the band wagon. However it’s Mid Summer Festival in the World of Warcraft as I finish off the achievement list to get my title.

For everyone else working on this I hope you are enjoying your world tour. :)

Need to edit your photo’s without software?

Many people would love to edit their own photo’s, re-size them to give them to someone to put on a website or to put them up themselves. However most people don’t want to spend a few hundred dollars on software that can do this efficiently(re-sizing in windows paint isn’t efficient or effective).

There are a few different options, windows  and mac both offer tools that you can download (windows live) that have some editing tools built in to make updates. However if your looking for an easy solution and have high speed internet there are some great online options.

Photoshop.com

You can upload or photo’s edit and re-size with lots of different options, you can then embed them from thier on to other websites or you can even save them to your local computer and upload them to where you would like to have them.

Flickr

Another great online tool to upload your photo’s and edit them with many options. I’m not sure if you can resave them directly with flickr but if not just right click on your edited photo and click ” save as ” if your using fire fox ” save image as” and you can save it to your local machine. That way you have a copy on your computer for back up or to share on other websites without having to depend on Flickr.

Now with all of the tools mentioned you will be able to do many simple edits but for cleaning up images to make really big changes I would recommend looking into the actual Photoshop Software, with all of the options with it you will be able to create almost anything you can imagine ( with a bit of training :-) )

Adobe Master Collection

Master CollectionI have received my Adobe Master Collection software (valued at $2,499). Over the next little while I will be writing reviews and my experiences of the latest and greatest CS3 software from Adobe®.

Now I’m sure many of you have heard about the nightmare install from this set of software, some are rumors, some are true. My install time was right around 2 hours with a few glitches on my machine that I had previously installed beta’s on.

Did you Install a CS3 Beta?

If you have installed CS3 beta’s on your machine before you install your new software make sure to read through the documentation on the Adobe Support website about potential install issues from having the beta installed. They do offer a clean script which worked perfectly for me but they do give you a warning to back up any of your information that you cannot afford to lose. See Adobe Support Website.

What did I get?

The lineup of software in this package is great, I now have the tools to complete just about any design – multimedia task. I am very excited to have all of these tools and I have used about 60% of different versions of the software listed below, but I plan to extend my skill set to include all of this great software.

However for those hopefuls that my service offerings will include more that will take a bit of time as I don’t offer new services that I only have the basics skills in. I like to make sure I can deliver quality results for you.
