Rss by Email?
Sorry for the Delay in postings but I have a couple of big projects come in that have eaten up a lot of my time along with my new found addiction to WOW(another post).
This latest project i’m working on was looking to communicate with users of the website in as many ways as possible so I have gone ahead and hooked them up with Feed Burner via Google. Which will allow users to sign up to receive daily/weekly updates via email from the RSS feed from the website, this will make it so people don’t have to have a feed reader or worry about checking the website daily. They can get to in their leisure via email and check out the specific information that is relevant to their interests.
I think it’s great as it’s not like a newsletter where someone is piling in everything from a month long activity it’s just quick little announcements from the rss to let you know what’s new.
Also for website owners it gives you all the stats and information to let you know if it’s being used so you can determine if it’s worthwile to keep running on your website.
