Sometimes Technology is not your Friend..

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

If I told you that you were being ripped off everytime you went to the movies just from not reviewing your options would you believe me?

If you go to empire theatres and use the electronic kiosk to purchase your tickets and your treats you are throwing away money and losing out for no reason. This technology was designed to make it easier to purchase everything at once but is the consumer getting the best deal?

I took these photo’s on Sunday Aug 1st

Look at combo 1 – $11.29

Walk 20 feet to the counter and look at combo #1
$9.99

So using the technology instead of the person working at the counter actually costs you more money, and now that you can buy your tickets from the person should we even use the kiosks??

Web design prices: how much does a website cost?

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

Most web design websites you come across will say contact me and I’ll provide an estimate and don’t state any prices on their website, the reason for this is for custom websites it’s impossible to determine the cost before gathering information first.

With custom websites it really depends on what your looking for that determines the cost, if you want a flash header that is designed to your specifications that part alone could be $1000 depending on the level of animation and detail which is why most web design firms don’t have prices stated.

I had this problem that I couldn’t provide prices up front so I created a solution for people looking to get online but wanted to know the cost before hand, without having to hear a sales pitch.
Elite Web Tuning
this service removes the largest portion of work which is the site design as you can see the layout and can start picking and making changes right away. You can see the prices right at on the website direct link is www.elitewebtuning.com/services.html

It also allows you to create your own package so that you can easily get online with a $300 – $500 budget and know that you are getting a great looking website as you have already seen it.

I have recently added the
